Payment Terms
Harris Family Furniture offers two ways to pay for your purchases:

Most major credit cards are accepted, including VISA, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express.
Personal and certified checks are accepted. If order is
COD, then 50% payment is required before shipment
If a special fabric or cover protection is ordered or upholstery and
custom order, payment in full is required for merchandise held over 30 days.
All orders are subject to Harris Family Furniture approval.
If a special item, fabric, or covering is discontinued or delayed by the
manufacturer, you will be notified as soon as possible. This delay or
discontinued item will not affect your remaining order.

Delivery
All items will be scheduled for delivery as soon as they are received
at our warehouse. Our shipping department will contact you in advance by phone
or e-mail with the date of your delivery. It will be your responsibility
to have one or more individuals available at the time of delivery to
assist the trucking company with your delivery. You will need to provide
us with written directions to your home, office, or other destination and
any special delivery instructions. In the event that setup, uncrate, or
other special requirements are made, then we may offer that assistance,
however additional charges may apply. In the event that a delivery is
delayed by the customer, the balance of payment may be required, subject
to the sole discretion of Harris Furniture. Customer must sign or have an
authorized representative inspect and sign for all shipments. In the
event that an order is refused, then all payments to date will be non
refundable and the customer will be charged for additional freight charges
for returned items. All items will be shipped by best carrier available.
In some cases smaller items will be shipped by UPS or RPS.
Note: for all local deliveries, ask sales representative for details
on delivery, warranty, set up, delivery charges, and special requests.
Order Processing
Each order will be reviewed for accuracy when it is received. If the
order is incorrect, or if there is a change in availability you will
be notified as soon as possible. Harris Furniture will not be liable for
any changes in product availability or in site errors.
Warranty Protection
All items are protected according to each individual Manufacturer's
Warranty Policy.
Clocks
All clocks are covered by the Manufacturer's Guarantee if they are
setup and adjusted for proper running by an approved person or company.
Any clock not setup and adjusted for proper running will not be covered by
any Harris Furniture or Manufacturer's Guarantee or Warranty. Harris
Furniture will provide a qualified setup company upon request.
Order Add Ons
It is important that you check all orders for accuracy and that you
are providing the correct delivery address and instructions. Please remember
when ordering to check that your order may require bedding, bed rails,
slats, mirror supports, special hardware, or fabric protection.
Damaged Items
When you receive a shipment, it is you or your authorized agents
responsibility to immediately inspect all items for damage. In the event
an item is damaged or has a defect, please notify the delivery person. You
should also contact our Customer Service Department. In the event there
is a dispute, it may be necessary for a factory representative or store
representative to further inspect the merchandise. Please
allow adequate time for this inspection. Our Customer Service
Department will keep you advised as to the status of your order and if
your returned item or items will receive credit, repair or replacement.

The preceding Store Policies have been established by Harris Furniture
to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service available.
