Delivery/Warehouse Worker

Harris Family Furniture in Chichester, NH in looking for a reliable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide variety of furniture to different addresses throughout New Hampshire and Western Maine.
  • Follow routes on a time schedule assigned by inventory manager.
  • Inspect, prepare, load and unload furniture from a delivery vehicle.
  • Collect payments.
  • Complete logs and reports.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Have proven working experience as a delivery driver.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate forklifts with no fear of heights.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations.
  • High School/GED degree.

Furniture Sales Associate

Harris Family Furniture has been a family-owned business for more than 50 years. We currently have four locations throughout the Granite State in Chichester, Laconia, Plymouth and North Conway. We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communications skills and a happy upbeat attitude.

We need a Furniture and Design Sales Professional to work part-time or full-time in our Chichester location. A "people-person" who loves to learn would also be a plus for us. You will need to be able to identify customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. An outgoing and friendly attitude and the ability to make customers feel welcome and comfortable in our store is a must.
